MEMBER PROJECT
Project Arrow
A collaborative initiative focused on increasing understanding and support for neurodiverse individuals through education and shared community effort.
Neurodiversity includes the wide range of differences in how people think, learn, and process information. Many individuals and families still face gaps in understanding and access to appropriate support.
Project Arrow focuses on increasing awareness and encouraging collaboration between educators, organizations, and communities to improve how neurodiverse individuals are supported in everyday environments.
A new strategic collaboration
Project Arrow
Project Arrow is a new partnership between the Clark County School District (CCSD), UNLV’s College of Education and School of Medicine, the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation – Ackerman Center, and QueensClub.
The collaboration aims to expand and improve services for autistic and neurodivergent learners in Southern Nevada by addressing gaps in diagnostic, educational, and therapeutic support.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Maureen Dunn
The founder of Project Arrow has worked in education since the age of 19, serving as a classroom teacher, math specialist, and school administrator. Throughout her career, she has focused on supporting student learning and strengthening educational systems at multiple levels.
This work is also personal. Her grandson, Arrow, has inspired her commitment to better understanding autism and neurodiversity. She continues to learn and advocate for collaboration across education and community systems so that every “little Arrow” has the opportunity to thrive.
