THE NEED

Some Girls and Young Women Face Serious Barriers to Safety and Protection

In certain regions, girls and young women are at risk of gender-based violence, exploitation, and harmful cultural practices that can limit their safety, education, and future opportunities.

Without access to safe housing, protection, and support systems, it can be difficult to escape these situations or begin the process of recovery and rebuilding. Safe environments are a critical first step toward stability and healing.
