How It Started
Powerful Women International Connections, PWIC, works with women humanitarian leaders to help them make a greater impact.
Our members are changing lives and building economic resilience across the globe. Their projects include ending human trafficking and homelessness, preventing domestic violence, reducing recidivism, empowering developing countries, providing quality education to all, promoting health and well-being, improving mental health, and transforming the lives of the underprivileged for a better future.

Why we're here
Our executive team recognized the need to support projects of women humanitarian leaders. When we considered our desire to help humanity as well, we were excited to establish a nonprofit that would strengthen and enhance the lives of individuals and communities.
Our focus is to empower individuals and communities to be sustainable, take care of themselves, and build equitable, resilient, and productive cities and neighborhoods. Consequently, PWIC Global Impact was born as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
